Thoughts from Benjamin Netanyahu -

I heard a short interview with Benjamin Netanyahu today, and he made an interesting comment. He said that the world should remember that Hezbollah, and by extension, Iran, thinks of Israel as the small fish in their goal ocean. The U.S. is really the ultimate goal; to totally wipe us out as well.
It made me stop and think!

Wow! I hope not-but it doesn't surprise me. We're not all that popular in that area of the world, in many areas to be more exact. If this is true, then it makes sense now why the U.S. has not been asking Israel to back down on Lebanon. It's a shame though that a country such as Lebanon(and I mean the citizens) had to be the fort for all this Hezbollah mess. My husband's boss was stuck over there right when all this mess happened, he was actually at the airport when it was first bombed. Fortunately he made it out of there alive, but with a bit of anger over the whole matter. In his mind, the only people that are really being harmed in all this are the civilians-the ones who didn't even instigate all this. The ones who are making all the decisions are safe while the people who aren't making the decisions, are being killed. An interesting sidenote is that my husband's boss said that the people of Lebanon hate America almost more than Israel right now because they're being bombed with equipment supplied by the U.S. When those shells actually fall, they say "made in the U.S.A.", So in connection with what was said by Benjamin Netanyahu, the hatred already spawned for the U.S. is likely only being spurned on with this war.

I just wanted to comment on the news handing of Castro. The media just knows how to grab you. When I got wind of it, "Castro turns power over to brother" I thought, he is finally stepping down after almost 50 years. They really know how to suck you in, and over exaggerate!
